Our systems are the best maritime fire detection systems for the simple reason that it alarms your crew earlier already when there is a credible, serious risk of an engine room fire. This gives crewmembers more time to react, and it dramatically reduces the risk of a fire actually breaking out and causing costly damage which can reduce the need for actual fire protection and fire suppression.
Hydrocarbon-based leakages will be detected by the system, thanks to the high input airflow rate and smart detection technologies, the system is able to detect risks that no other system – or even a crew member – can detect. The high airflow rate ensures far more reliable detection than light-scatter and other comparing technologies. The gas sensor detects the presence of gasses that not even the most experienced crewmember can smell. And the filter mesh detects particle diameters down to 5 μm. The fire prevention system’s unique design and technologies mean it does not require light to operate and finally the system is not affected by human interference / crew members passing by etc.
The system Control Unit provides access to a wide range of adjustable detection and alarm parameters. This Includes individual alarm levels for different volumes of airborne sprays and gasses. The control and monitoring system is fast and accurate, and does not bother operators with false alarms. The control units are equipped with various interfaces and protocols for integration with your existing alarm systems.
